Australian Poet – David Lewis Paget

Born of mixed Scottish and Welsh parentage in Nottingham, England, in 1944. Educated at Holly Lodge Grammar School in Smethwick, until migrating to South Australia with the family at the age of 13 in 1958. Served in the RAAF and completed a BA Degree as a mature age student at the Flinders University of South Australia in 1978.
Published a dozen small books of poetry over the years, and eight novels. After running a printing and publishing business for over twenty years, went to China for a year in 2005-06 to teach English to College students. It was there that all the Chinese poetry was written. Recently finished a book on the Chinese experience called ‘Arrows from Wenzhou’.
